Maïder Ferras is a specialist of international development and intercultural management in the field of urban and sustainable development. Since 2001 she has specialized in strategic and international consulting for local authorities and private urban service providers, as well as worldwide conference organisers. She has conducted a major research on the challenges of urban management in Europe, which led to the creation of Global City, the international forum for urban decision makers, for which she acted as Senior Advisor - Content and Strategy. Until 2010, she was also the General Secretary of "Les Entretiens de Royaumont", the annual meeting point of French political thought.
